FSI understands the importance that whether you are a large restaurant or small business owner, food safety is an essential requirement. The governmental regulatory agency requires that every employee handling food must obtain proper training and stay in compliance with a certified food managers training program. Finding the time and place to train your employees can be frustrating and confusing.

FSI offers a certification program that is conducted by our professional state-certified & Registered Sanitarian instructors. We provide training programs at our corporate office or at your location for a minimum of 10 or more students for each privately held class. The one day course lasts 6 hours where students will receive all the necessary instruction to successfully pass an exam given at the end of the class.

FSI teaches a nationally recognized Managers Certification Course. Upon successfully completing the exam, FSI will issue your employees a nationally recognized certificate. This certificate is valid anywhere in the United States.  If you have employees that move from one location to another, you will never have to worry about them being out of compliance.

If you are located within the city limits of Houston, Texas, you are required to have a “City of Houston Certification” posted onsite at your establishment. FSI will file all additional documents that provide you with this certification as well.

Classes are available in English, Spanish,& Vietnamese. Don’t need a class? Do you just need to take the test for your recertification? No problem call and schedule your appointment to take the test only! Cindy 713-412-8567

Your business is designed to cater to others….let FSI cater to you.

There is a 85 multiple choice question exam following the class so we suggest you bring paper and pencil to take notes during the class. While you can not use your notes for the test, you will be given time to study prior to taking the exam.

The class is a one day, 6 hour course instructed by registered Sanitarins from the State of Texas.

The National Registry issues a card valid for 5 years, however we suggest you attend training yearly to stay current of any laws that may change.

FSI will accept a company check, cash, money orders or credit card. If you would like to pay in advance with a credit card you may register online through this web site under the certification class tab. We do not accept personal checks.

We can send you an invoice in advance, or you may pay when you arrive at the class.

FSI turns in the exams to National Registry to be graded. The grading period can take up to 4 weeks. We suggest you take the exam before your card expires.

National Registry can print you another card. The reprint fee is $10.00

Our instructors are multi-lingual in English, Spanish, Korean, and Vietnamese.

Onsite Classes

At FSI we understand the busy and demanding schedule of the food and beverage industry. This is why we developed our onsite classes. We bring the convenience of the Food Manger’s Certification, Food Handler Training, and Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) classes to your location for a minimum of 10 people per class.

Our office is based in Houston, Texas. We offer onsite classes to you at NO additional charge if you are within a 400 mile radius of our headquarters. However, because many of our clients have locations world wide and desire the same standardized training at each location, we provide onsite training world wide for additional travel fees based on your location.

Our Food Manager’s Certification class and Food Handler Training class issues a ‘ServSafe Certificate’ that is nationally recognized by all health regulatory agencies. We offer these classes in English and Spanish.
